Movies in Malta

It’s a tiny island off the coast of Italy, but the Malta has had its fair share of starring roles in blockbusters with big-name stars like Brad Pitt and Madonna. The capital city of Valletta, with its pristine ancient and medieval architecture has been transformed into ancient Greece and Rome in flicks like ‘Troy‘, ‘Gladiator‘ and ‘Alexander‘.
 
If you want to see it for yourself book a tour with Malta Tourist Guides, which offers group tours for up to 25 people for 80 Euro in a host of languages. The two-hour tour kicks off at the City Gate and ends at Ollie’s Last Pub (136 Archbishop St., Valletta, Malta), the final stop in the life of British actor Oliver Reed.
